Iris is a PhD candidate at CHANGE Leiden, supervised by prof. Berna Güroğlu and dr. Anna van Duijvenvoorde. She completed a research master and clinical master in Developmental Psychology at Leiden University and obtained a qualification in psychodiagnostics (BAPD). Her PhD project focuses on the neural mechanisms of feedback processing in the context of peers in typically developing adolescents and adolescents with ADHD. Besides, Iris examines longitudinal changes in adolescents’ peer relationships, wellbeing, and classroom characteristics, in relation to observational learning and academic achievement. She is especially interested in the educational and clinical implications of research findings.
