Jorien is an assistant professor at CHANGE Leiden and a psychologist at De Bascule, academic center for child & adolescent psychiatry. Her goal as scientist-practitioner is to connect science, teaching and clinical practice. Her research focuses on social and neurobiological development in adolescents with and without psychiatric disorders (e.g., ADHD and ASS). Currently, Jorien works with Dr. Anna van Duijvenvoorde and (inter)national collaborators on the Sara van Dam grant to examine the effects of social context on risk-taking in adolescents with ADHD.
