Maaike is a research assistant at CHANGE Leiden (Leiden University), focusing on the general open science practices in the lab. She develops informative guides and protocols to help the researchers implement open science practices in their workflow. She also supports researchers in daily struggles they encounter regarding open science. Maaike completed the Bachelor Psychology and the Research Master Cognitive Neuroscience at Leiden University. Her primary interests are science evaluation and innovation, improving the general quality of scientific research through agendas such as Open Science and Responsible Research, and making these transitions as easy as possible for researchers.
